The Crawford County Historical Society & Museum is located at 308 N. Smith Street in Cuba, Missouri. The former school building boasts “Three Floors of History.”
Now, Museum Curator Betty DeLeo reports that the museum has a new website to better connect with citizens and visitors to Crawford County.
The new website makes basic information such as hours, contact information, and notice of publications more accessible. The photo-rich site also shows more of the exhibits that the museum has such as the Bridal Hall, the Military Room, the Kitchen, the One-Room School, and much more. The site will also update events and speakers at the museum.
The museum is a great place to take kids to show them what life was like in the past and would be a good field trip during the long days of summer.
The museum welcomes group tours for people of all ages. While you are on Smith Street, view the Veterans Memorial with the names of Cuba’s soldiers from World War I and all of the subsequent wars.
Visit the new website here for a preview of what you will find at Cuba’s History Museum.

I have searched for 50 years for a home in Cuba MO. At that time it was a small farmer named the Ruggly place, (not sure of spelling).
Is there any way you can get info about this place or does it even exist anymore.
It was a 2 story home with a little concrete low water bridge in front of it.
I have always longed to see that place again. Could you please try to help me find out where it went or where it is.
Thank you so much,
JoAnn
