Here are a few of the items in the Chair-i-table Auction that the kids will love.

Cuba, MO: If you drive by Java.net Gifts & Books on Saturday, you are going to see a lot of chairs out front. They are artist-designed chairs that will be auctioned off.

This is just a reminder of Saturday’s Chair-i-table Auction on May 8th at Java.net. I will attach the flyer below so that you can get the details.

The auction raises money for beautification projects and mural maintenance in Cuba, MO.

We did several thousands dollars worth of maintenance last summer, and we have a couple of major projects this summer. We have one of the original artists coming in to work on the Al West Jr. murals, and Don Gray will be visiting Cuba to do some work on the Civil War Murals. We are very lucky that the artists are able to re-visit Cuba for this work.

We are also continuing to work on lighting all the murals so that they are an attraction 24/7.

We thank the artists who create the furniture, and the bidders who support our fundraisers.
