Each year thousands make their way to Cuba to enjoy the murals, the Meramec River, and other local attractions. To help visitors navigate the area, a mobile app is now available to highlight shops, attractions, restaurants and much more.
The app is called Visit Cuba MO and can be downloaded FREE to any mobile device. Created by the local technology firm GoToBlu, the app is designed to provide information about all the things that make Cuba a great place to visit.
There is an interactive map that provides a visual overview of the city. Each attraction, eatery, and shop is represented with a photo icon on the map. Users can click on icons for more information about each location. In addition, there is an event calendar with annual festivals, pop-up events, and Chamber happenings.
As an added bonus, local businesses can advertise on the app to increase summer foot traffic to retail locations. Visitors click on advertisements to learn more about the business, special deals, and even historical significance. Users can easily learn more about the business using QR codes found at storefronts, on products, and on social media.
While the app is designed to promote tourism, it benefits locals too. Users learn more about local attractions, restaurants, and specialty shops all around Cuba. In support of the community, users have options to make donations in support of the Visit Cuba MO App, Viva Cuba Murals, Crawford County Historical Society, and Crawford County Library District.
Residents and shop owners are encouraged to remind visitors about the Visit Cuba MO App. This useful tool provides vacationers a digital means to discover where to eat, things to do, and places to stay. This app is a courtesy to all the busy people who want to know what makes Cuba a great small town.
To download the FREE app, go to any online App Store and search for Visit Cuba MO. To learn more about advertising, donations, or adding an attraction to the app, call 417-986-0963 or email info@gotoblu.com.
