What is it?

The Window on Buchanan radiates creativity, elegance, and rustic sophistication. The displays represent the community in a colorful collage of nature, history, and a vision for tomorrow!

It all started last fall when the window took on a new spooky display for Halloween. Since then, it has been a seasonal attraction. Each new exhibit is a fusion of history, holidays, and local love. This window will keep you coming back just to see what’s new!

Who is responsible?

Thanks to Viva Cuba volunteers, Kim Baldwin, Kim Roedemeier, and Tina McGinnis, the window lights up with festive displays. The local trio has been active in Viva Cuba projects for many years and continues to make Cuba a beautiful place to live, work, and visit.

Each season, expect soft glowing lights to illuminate art, fashion, and vintage treasures. Currently, the Window on Buchanan is glowing green with the charm of St. Patrick’s Day. Famously synonymous with the holiday, the pot of gold sits boldly among the familiar green accents.

Speaking on behalf of the trio, Tina McGinnis explains, “We enjoy being part of Viva Cuba and want to make our hometown a place that we can be proud of. It is for the residents of Cuba to enjoy and also for our many visitors that will be passing through looking at our murals.“
