Cuba Missouri Spyderfest US 2011 night mural tour

Viva Cuba members conducted an evening tour of the murals.

Viva Cuba members usually tours the murals during the day aboard coach buses, or maybe a school bus. But the spyders riders like to have evening tours just before their evening Salute to Veterans ceremony by Cuba’s Veterans Memorial.

In preparation for the evening tours Viva Cuba worked with the city to make sure all the mural lights were in working order so that the murals would look their best in the evening. Keeping the murals lit at night is an ongoing project, but it is particularly important during special events.

Enough  spyder riders were  interested in a tour that two tours were offered.  With the murals lit at night, and the tourers aboard their spyders, it gives the tours a special atmosphere.  Because of time constraints, the tours hit the high points of the day tours.
