HIstoric Route 66 sign Cuba MO

Historic Route 66 is a main avenue through Cuba and spurred the growth of the community.

The registration for the Saturday, November 13 Route 66 Association of Missouri meeting and luncheon is nearing 100.  The group arrives in Cuba from all over the state, and some from out-of-state, to meet , eat, and socialize. There are also many local members of the Route 66 Association as well. The activities take place at Bob and Darlene Mullen’s Bob’s Gasoline Alley, a privately owned collection of neon, signs, and other memorabilia that the Mullens have collected. During the meeting, Bob and Darlene will share with the 66ers how their collection started and progressed.

Cuba is proud of its Route 66 heritage and welcomes the group to our community. Many of our Route 66 attractions, such as Viva Cuba’s murals ,draw visitors year round.

When you see our visitors on Saturday, welcome them to town.
