The group gathered at Frisco’s for dinner.
The group adjourned to the Holiday Inn Express for more visiting and a reception.
Some Spyders were too tired to make the evening ride and had to go to grandma’s.
The evening mural tour began outside the Wagon Wheel Motel.
During the evening tour the group traveled Route 66 and stopped at designated spots to hear the stories behind the murals.
The tour ended at the Veterans Memorial where Gene Strum introduced the Veterans. Lesa Mizell of Cuba recognized their efforts for our freedom. Mariah Montgomery also of Cuba then sang “The Star Spangled Banner.“
Spyderfest U.S. 2011 is in the works for an even bigger and better event.
