Viva Cuba received a news release about Sypderfest U.S. 2010 coming to the Mural City. Read on to see what Cuba’s Cowtown U.S.A. has to say about this event. If you have a bike, you can ride with them too.
The Spyders are Coming!
Cuba, MO: Scores of Spyders are coming to town, and Cowtown USA is happy about it. Cowtown USA, a dealer of the popular three-wheel Spyder recreational cycle, will welcome Spyder riders from all over the US to the first annual Spyderfest U.S. on April 16-18. Spyders are a three-wheel vehicle, with two-wheels in the front and one in the back, that are multiplying on America’s roadways.
“The superior stability of the Spyder’s ride makes it the choice for family and friends out for a day’s or a weekend’s recreational riding. We are thrilled to host this first Spyderfest U.S. and look forward to making new friends,” says Len Damouth of Cowtown.
Riders will gather Friday night for a dinner cruise to acclimate riders to Cuba, MO, which is designated “Route 66 Mural City” because of its 12 outdoor murals along the Route 66 corridor.
The fun continues on Saturday with a BBQ, a ride on Historic Route 66, and a visit to the Guinness World’s Largest Rocking Chair. The 46’ tall rocker will provide a great photo opportunity for Spyder riders. After a special dinner hosted by Frisco’s Pub and Restaurant, a train-themed local eatery, riders will enjoy a night ride and mural tour.
The weekend concludes Sunday with a send-off breakfast at Cuba Lakes Golf Course.
Two-wheelers are welcome to sign on for this special weekend of rider camaraderie and Ozark country rides along Route 66.

I’m sorry I can’t be there this time but I will visit on 13 May as three of us prepare to embark on a round trip cross-country adventure that will cover 19 states in 19 days…nearly 7,000 miles…beginning with Route 66 from Lebanon MO to Santa Monica CA.
