While noodling around on the internet, besides finding some info on yesterday’s bank robbery in Cuba, I noticed some references to a new marketing plan for Cuba, MO.
I followed the links to a Columbia Missourian article. The report concerns a college project of Sean Siebert’s class. Siebert is an assistant professor of business administration at Columbia College. Mardy Leathers of the Cuba Development group was also quoted. Siebert and Leathers are both graduates of Cuba High School.
Seibert’s Management Business Infomation Systems Class presented the Cuba Development Group with a program for developing Cuba through 5 categories: health and wellness, safety and security, education, community, and how to retain the existing and attract a new middle class.
Students spent eight weeks gathering data and putting together a proposal for Cuba.
I wonder what data they gathered, who they talked to while gathering it, and what’s in the full report.
We look forward to reading the full report. For now, read the article. You don’t want to be left behind.
