The Cuba MO Wildcats are on the prowl…
Cuba, MO: The president of the Crawford County Foundation Kathy Lasley sent Viva Cuba the flyer for the Black-n-Gold Ball, which is Saturday, May 8 at the Knights of Columbus Hall at 7:00 pm. The tickets are $100 and include dinner for two, plus beer, wine, setups, music, and dancing. You must be 21 to attend the event. Don’t put off buying your tickets because April 28 is the last day to purchase a ticket.
That isn’t a bad deal, but to sweeten the deal, there are only 300 tickets sold, and there will be a drawing at 11:00 pm for a $10,000 dollar prize. That is better than Lost Vegas odds. You do not have to be present to win. Winners will be told to not donate the money back that night.
Door prizes and Ca$h prizes continue throughout the night.
The event is raising money for the lockers in the new locker room being built at the Cuba Schools track, which is also new and includes the football field, a concession stand, and a ticket booth.
May 8 is also the last day to purchase a brick to be placed at the track. The brick sales also raise money for the track.
Wear black and gold and be ready to enjoy an evening of fun with friends and raise money for a good cause.
Contact Lynn Wallis at 573-241-7712 with questions. If fewer than 300 tickets are sold, the Grand Prize amount will be adjusted in relation to the number of tickets sold.
