On the heels of the blog posts about improving our community, I received a press release from the energetic president of the Cuba, MO Chamber of Commerce Mardy Leathers.
Mardy Leathers, founder of the Cuba Development Group and president of Chamber, announced in a January 4 email that the Cuba Development Group (CDG) has launched a new website. “The site www.gocubamo.com shall be the primarily online resource for news, publications, and resources in regard to CDG and its efforts,” states Leathers.
Leathers goes on to say, “This is a core component to the marketing of our community development efforts here in Cuba. By establishing, ‘go cuba mo’ as our tagline and further securing the phrase as our URL, we have positioned our marketing efforts to be highly competitive in a very competitive global market.”
Go Cuba MO is part of the ten year marketing plan for CDG entitled “Vision 2020.” By collaborating with local organizations in Cuba and Crawford County, the group plans to manage, and execute each facet of development.
