Viva Cuba’s Yuletide Tour on December 6 has both homes and tours. Since the original info came out, some organizations and businesses have updated their offerings, such as the earlier blog entry on the Crawford County History Museum’s Presidential Ornament display.
Java. net Books & Gifts is adding a chocolate fountain to its lunch special. The special is a pic 2 with chicken salad sandwich and a cup of loaded baked potato or tomato basil soup, tea, or soda for $6.50, including the chocolate fountain. Or you can have just the chocolate fountain with pineapple, marshmallows, rice krispie treats, and other temptations for dipping for $2.99.
And Miller has the family “snowing” Christmas tree in place. I have seen it, and it does snow. I have never seen a tree like it.
Miller’s parents bought the tree in the 60s and then it was sold in an auction. When her sister Jerri realized what they had sold, she tracked the buyer down and bought the tree back. She has loaned the vintage tree to Miller for the tour.
There will be a drawing for a Christmas basket with Christmas books, a scented candle, Rt. 66 Fudge, and Christmas scrap booking paper from Scrapbook Addictions. You can only include your name in the drawing on Dec. 6.
Java.net. located at 418 North Franklin, will be open from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Drop by, it will be raining chocolate and snow.
For full details of the tour see “Viva Cuba’s Yuletide Tour Sunday, December 6.”
