Mardy Leathers, Cuba, Missouri Chamber of Commerce President, sent an email yesterday stating that Channel 9’s first Cuba, Missouri video is posted on YouTube. Leathers was notified of this in an email by Lauren Schwarze, project manager for KETC Channel 9. The introduction video is titled “STL American Dream/Community Spotlight/Welcome to Cuba Missouri.”
According to Leathers , “We will now begin to see one or two videos a week accompanied by a blog post on the KETC, Channel 9 website. This is just the introduction. There will be many more videos coming up. Once they are all up, they will be linked together as one. We should be able to see them come up piece over the next six to eight weeks.”
The first video features Leathers speaking of Cuba. Sometimes his voice is heard as scenes of Cuba’s murals roll across the screen. This is just the beginning of the series, but Leathers spoke very well in front of the camera and was an excellent ambassador for Cuba.
