Cuba Fest 2009 is on the way…October 17-18…

A 1904-style Trolley, Apple Butter, Crafts, Music, Cemetery Tour, Great Food, the list goes on and on…

Viva Cuba received this Cuba Fest activity card in an email today. The Tri-C organization, a service organization of busy Cuba women, organizes this event each year.  Many businesses and organizations contribute to its overall success.  You can contribute too by showing up and taking part in a great family event.

If you are from out-of-town, you can cruise down Route 66 or Hwy. 19, or motor down I-44 to get to Cuba for small town living at its best. The Recklein Historical District or Recklein Commons Area as it is sometimes called is located on Smith and School Streets by Recklein Auditorium, the Crawford Country History Museum, Recklein Library, the Veterans Memorial,  and the Holy Cross Catholic Church. It is an area steeped in history.
